~Puppy information~
All of our puppies are sold as pets with LIMITED AKC (pet) registrations on a spay/neuter contract (Non Breeding rights). This means that we hold the AKC registration papers until we have proof from your veterinarian that your puppy has been spayed or neutered. Upon verification of spay/neutering we will mail your puppy's limited AKC papers to you so you can register him in your name with the AKC. I'm sorry but we no longer sell puppies with FULL AKC registration papers. All our puppies are sold with Limited AKC registration papers only.
We register exclusively with the American Kennel Club.
All our puppies are born and raised in our home until they are ready to go to their forever homes.
Puppies leave our care between 8 and 9 weeks of age or shortly thereafter.
Our puppies are well socialized from birth. They are whelped in our home with myself in attendance. Our babies are carefully handled daily and are given a lot of love and attention by our entire family. They are well socialized with our 5 boys and our other doxies!
We put alot of hard work into raising a litter of puppies! Before puppies go to their forever homes, they learn to potty on pee pads or newspaper and they learn to keep their beds clean. When the weather permits, we take them to go outside for playtime. Our puppies are fed a good quality dry puppy food with meat as the 1st ingredient. This is very important as it gives them a good, healthy start in life and a nice shiny coat. We ask that you feed your puppy a comparable food as well for a long, healthy life.
Our puppies receive all age appropriate vet exams, dewormings, and vaccinations. They come with a one year health guarantee against life threatening genetic defects. All of our puppies go home with a puppy package that includes a sample bag of current puppy food, toy, pee pads, blanket with mother and littermates' scent, puppy data sheet with record of 1st shots and dewormings, and a Purina Puppy Information packet.
Prices, Waiting lists and Deposits
Our puppy prices depend on gender, coat length and color. Please contact me for current puppy prices.*
~I no longer have a general waiting list only a deposit waiting list.~
We list upcoming litters on our "Upcoming Litters" page. If you are interested in one of our upcoming litters please contact me if you would like to place a deposit. Deposits are $200 and are non-refundable but will transfer from litter to litter if a puppy of choice is not born in a current litter. When puppies are born, I contact those who have placed deposits in the order that the deposits were placed. Placing a deposit guarantees that I will not place the puppy of your choice with someone else, and it also guarantees to me that you will be purchasing the puppy specified. Before a deposit is placed, I like to learn more about our potential puppy owners.
We can only accept cash for final payment but we will accept personal checks for deposits. We require a minimum $200 deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable only if a puppy of choice is not born from choice litter. Your puppy must be paid in full before it leaves our care.
Visitation **Due to extenuating circumstances and for the safety of my family and my puppies, I no longer have in home visitation or puppy pick ups from my home. Everything will be done through emails and photos. Puppy pick ups will be at a public location agreed upon by both parties. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.**

Since we are not a kennel and our dogs are our house pets and live in our home, when you visit us, you are actually visiting our home. **I'm sorry but we do not have public restrooms.** The area where our puppies are born and raised is in the middle of our household environment and I work very hard to keep it sanitary and clean for them. Therefore, I don't allow visitors to walk through our home to get to our bathroom.
Visiting our home is allowed after the puppies are 5 weeks of age and only to those who have placed a deposit on a puppy in a current litter. In the best interest of our puppies and adult dogs, we are very careful about preventing the transmission of diseases to them. We take every precaution we can to make sure our puppies are not exposed to any kind of disease that may be carried on shoes, clothing or even hands of those who have been anywhere a dog not from our home has been. This includes public parks, dog parks, dog shelters, vet offices, pet stores and other breeders. We ask that you not visit any of these places before you come visit our home. Since our home is where current litters and future litters will be housed, we do not want anything carried in to our puppies or premises.

If you are interested in one of our puppies, we will provide photos on our website and personally email you photos and information on our puppies. I will occasionally provide videos upon request. When you place a deposit on a puppy and the litter is born, we send out photos and information by email bi-weekly so families can watch their puppies grow!
We really care about our puppies and the forever homes they will be going to. We may ask questions when you inquire about our puppies. We only desire the best for them! A dachshund can live well into his teens and we want to be sure you are prepared for that commitment.
If for any reason you are unable to keep the puppy that you adopt from us, we ask that you contact us first so we can find him a suitable home. Under no circumstance should one of our puppies be sold or rehomed without our consent. We gladly take back any of our puppies/adults and we do our best to find appropriate homes for them.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell one of our puppies to anyone for any reason. We do not knowingly sell to puppy mills, commercial breeders or pet stores.
